The Alabama Theatre

Christie and Christopher had a beautiful wedding at the Hills Arts Center. We were graciously given permission to shoot at the Historic Alabama Theatre. I can't believe what a beautiful place it was and how their styles complimented the surroundings so well. Christie and Christopher were wonderful to work with and their attendants and family were so comfortable to work with. Thanks again!
I often travel to Birmingham to photography weddings but this was my first to this amazing location. I look forward to an opportunity to return.

New Website

It was time for a new website, one that I could easily manage new content and update. I loved my last site, created by Shannon Miller.
She did a great job and I highly recommend her services if you are ever in the need of a professional website.
However, I really wanted to personalize the site as it is the first impression so many of my clients have of me. I needed something lighter and more inviting. So take a minute to look over it and send me some feedback !
Thanks,
Kerry

This week I have been working on some new advertisement and product placement. The WZYP Bridal Fair is this weekend; and while we will not be participating in it, we do have some of our work being displayed. We have had the privilege to work with some really outstanding couples this last year and their choice of local venues has given us plenty of work worthy to display. Here are a few sample of what we have added around town.

I’m always looking for more locations to photograph families and brides. In my wanderings I went to Mooresville this week and shot some portraits of my little boy. I was really happy with the scenery and light I found. If you have never been to Mooresville then you should get out there. They have added a restuarant called the Trading Post . It is really quaint and the downtown area is beautiful anytime of year. I’m sure I want to come back this spring when the green in blooming to do some Bridal Sessions.

Can you believe this kid is only 2 1/2 ?

These are a few shots from a recent portrait session in the park. It was a interesting day to be a photographer that afternoon. I counted at least six photographers shooting down and around the park. It is always a challenge to produce something different from what everyone else is doing. Somehow, I never see anyone shooting in the locations that I use. I owe a lot of thanks to my mentor Greg Young , for teaching me to “see the light.” We developed a few places in the park that always produce great lighting.
I would like to thank these kids also, you guys were great to work with. I could not have asked for a better couple of subjects. I look forward to working with this family, they are all a real blessing to work with.
