The rain Sunday tried to dampen our spirits, but the sun came out just in time for Morgaine and Alan to have a wonderful outdoor wedding. Her bridal dress and bridesmaid dresses; supplied by David’s Bridal were stunning. All the Decorations and flowers were arranged by Mrs. Ellis; she has a talent for coordinating. The Ceremony was held on the patio at Monte Sano lodge overlooking the mountains of the State Park, with the reception to follow indoors. Steve Metz with Metropolitan Disc Jockey Service was on hand to MC and drop some def jams for the dance floor. A non-stop dance party shortly ensued. Clementine’s Catering kept the food coming and the cake was stunning to see and delicious to eat. When the party started to wrap up Affordable Vintage supplied a special car for the bride and groom. Thanks to the Ellis and Kim families for making this event fun and easy to photograph.

Fun in the Field

These fields of green grasses have been growing in Madison county over the last few weeks, I really want to photograph a bride in the middle of one. I’m sure it would have to be a trash your dress sitting, as it was really muddy out there. This would also make a nice setting for a family or senior sitting. Jack loved playing in the “forest” we got a lot of fun shots of him playing hide and seek with the camera.

Christy and Joe

WOW! I finally got to photograph a couple under the Dogwood at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens! That has got to be one of the most beautiful trees in Alabama. Thanks and Congratulations to Christy and Joe on your engagement! The session turned out terrific!

Lexie & Steve

Lexie and Steve had a wonderful ring ceremony in the Big Spring Park. The Museum of Art was the perfect location for their literature themed reception. We got some great shots around the park, I love shooting there in the spring. Lexie and Steve have been great to work with, very kind and generous. Who doesn’t like the fudgey nut? Thanks for everything guys!

Emily and Matt

Emily and Matt were married recently at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with the reception following at The Ledges. This was truly a beautiful couple to work with and photography. The families were so cooperative and patient. I have been photographing a lot of weddings up at good shepherd; I feel like one of the parishioners now. They are always so welcoming! The reception was another flawless event at the ledges. Photos at sunset on the 18th, who could ask for anything else?

The Alabama Theatre

Christie and Christopher had a beautiful wedding at the Hills Arts Center. We were graciously given permission to shoot at the Historic Alabama Theatre. I can't believe what a beautiful place it was and how their styles complimented the surroundings so well. Christie and Christopher were wonderful to work with and their attendants and family were so comfortable to work with. Thanks again!
I often travel to Birmingham to photography weddings but this was my first to this amazing location. I look forward to an opportunity to return.
